Stefan Rüll, J.D.

After starting my professional career in 1986 as defence attorney in the leading German law firm for law of medicine in Munich I switched to the audio-visual industry in 1988 as general counsel and proxy holder for the four companies of the Polyphon group. They produced mainly TV-series and films, music films and industry films at their locations in Hamburg, Munich, and Berlin. In 1993 I returned to Munich to become managing director of ROYAL Filmproduktion, later named SENATOR Filmproduktion, which produced feature films. With SENATOR I moved to Berlin where I opened my own law firm in 1996 in order to work as an independent counsellor for a wide variety of companies and personalities and especially for international projects.

Member of the Bar Association in Berlin and of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers, founding and board member of the association Mediation in den Medien – Mediation in the Media, Music & the Arts e. V., sustaining member of Deutsche Filmakademie, lecturer at Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin and at Filmakademie Ludwigsburg, founder and managing partner of the international "Collection Agency" OnTrust Inkasso- und Abrechnungsgesellschaft mbH in Berlin.
